    Mark McNulty

    Business Coach

    Mark McNulty is no stranger to success, with decades of experience in team leadership, marketing, sales, engineering, quality improvement, training, human resources, and finance. In 2004, after years playing the Corporate game, Coach Mark had an “Entrepreneurial Seizure” and joined the ActionCOACH team. For the over 20 years he has been dedicated to helping other Entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, the way ActionCOACH helped him achieve his. Just like you, and every other business owner out there, Coach Mark has experienced the ups and downs of owning a small business, and understands the difficulties of succeeding at each step along the way, from start up to Growth/Expansion, to using Leverage. Coach Mark was inducted into the ActionCOACH Hall of Fame in 2022, and has won numerous awards locally, regionally, and globally. He is an International Conference Speaker, a Top 50 Coach, and a North American Firm of the Year winner. Coach Mark can help you find your way to success the way his coaches helped him find his. No two journeys are the same, but the decisions to be made, the priorities to be set, and the actions to take all come from the same place inside of us. Coach Mark’s Top Strength is his ability to break down the complexities of a challenge into smaller components which can then be more readily addressed and resolved. Born in the Chicago suburbs, Mark has lived in the Midwest his whole life. He started his coaching career in Columbus, Indiana in 2004. In 2015 he moved to Louisville, where he lives with his wife Liz. He balances his work and play by collecting bourbon, travelling, and rooting for Notre Dame. He also volunteers for the ActionCOACH Foundation, a nonprofit that assists young adults and nonprofit leadership to become great leaders and entrepreneurs.

    Sandy Merritt

    Business Coach

    Sandy has had a long and varied career, spanning a number of roles and industries. Positions as a project manager and business analyst, recruiter, and human resources director all contributed to her ability to run two businesses of her own. After recent positions in healthcare administration companies, Sandy has again turned her attention to the world of entrepreneurs. She understands that being a business owner can be the most rewarding and most stressful choice for the business owners and their families. Joining ActionCOACH Bluegrass brings together her knowledge of business, and her passion for helping people succeed. Her analytical skills are balanced by her people skills. In addition to being a business coach, she is also a Certified DISC Communication Styles and Motivators Practitioner and a Certified Employee Engagement Advisor. Sandy grew up in the Cleveland area, and has preferred the milder winters of Louisville for the past 30 years. She has two amazing children and gets to spoil four grandchildren. She is a regular volunteer and supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Louisville Skating Academy. Her latest and most challenging hobby is aerial fitness.

    Liz McNulty

    Client Care Coordinator

    Before joining ActionCOACH in 2015, Liz worked for 14 years at Columbus Regional Hospital in Indiana, as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Having previously helped people in a health care setting, she has come to love the ActionCOACH culture and mission of helping business owners grow themselves and their businesses. Liz’s most important responsibility is to make sure all of our coaching clients feel welcomed and have everything they need. She also supports the coaches in an administrative capacity. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and is also a volunteer board member for Little Orphans Kitten Rescue, a Louisville non-profit.
